About
Built for the couples who agree
Two thirds of divorces in England and Wales end with no financial order. Not because couples disagreed, but because the paperwork looked like a job for solicitors and the only credible service cost thousands. Agreeable exists to close that gap.
What we are
- A guided way to think through the five decisions in a settlement, with the law explained at each one.
- A fairness check that applies what judges look for to your numbers, before you sign.
- A drafting and filing service for the consent order and D81, at one fixed price for both of you.
- A route to a real family solicitor for a fixed-fee review when the picture says you need one.
What we are not
- A law firm. We don't give legal advice and we don't tell you what to agree to.
- A mediation service. If you're not agreed, we'll say so and point you to a mediator or solicitors.
- A substitute for independent advice where there's a business, overseas property, or a pension that needs an expert.
- For Scotland or Northern Ireland. The law and process there are different, so we only cover England and Wales.
How we keep the line
Information is not advice. We explain what the law says, what the process is, and what judges tend to query. The decisions are yours. Where the picture shows a situation we think needs independent advice, we say so as we walk you through it, and the solicitor review tier is carried out by a solicitor on our panel who is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and acts for you, not for us.
